Loved this hotel. Was nice and close to the airport but had no airport noise, so that was great.
Rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Service was fantastic as was breakfast. We met a tour booking lady from Arabian Adventures at 9am in the foyer to organize us on our Desert Safari tour that afternoon…..perfectly seamless! Would most certainly stay here again. Perfect location and price. Bought our Big Bus Tour tickets at reception and changed Aussie cash there too without any problems. Staff were fantastic ! lLoved it !

Together with friends we have at the end of January and February 2012 spent 8 nights at the Marco Polo. The hotel offers reasonably priced quality service with very friendly service and very good selection of restaurants with evening program. If you are looking for a good location, quality and reasonable price so we can only recommend.

We stayed here from 11th -22nd January,2012. We found the staff to be very helpful and always polite and cheerful. The Hotel was very comfortable clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was excellent and catered for all tastes. The selection of restaurants in the hotel is varied and in particular the Bombay was one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten in both for the food and the entertainment. The Palm Grove was good for coastal Indian cuisine and the Chopstix for Chinese food. There are nightclubs and frequent functions going on but we never found them to be noisy or obtrusive. The hotel is situated in a busy part of Deira and there are dozens of restaurants all within 10 minutes walk. The Metro is 5 minutes walk away and an excellent way of getting around. There are two shopping malls within 10 minutes walk and plenty of small shops nearby. The Gardens running along the road in front of the hotel are lovely for an evenings stroll and people watching. Their Polo Lounge is an excellent place to relax and chill out after a days activities.
Room Tip: The Polo suite room we had overlooked the main road and park giving good views of the city and with the night shutter down the external noise was minimal.

We stayed there for 5 nights. Good location in Deira with easy access to several restaurants and shopping places. Staff were helpful to make your stay comfortable and tried their best to meet your requests. Room was spacious, clean, modern and well equipped. the only disadvantage is the noise of the planes while the hotel is almost under the air take off route, which not much residents or hotels can avoid. Over all, it was a good and pleasant stay there.

“Really liked the hotel, Staff is really nice even if they’re sometimes having troubles with english. Room is nice, well decorated and view from room is pretty good. even if there is a big street just in front of the hotel, it’s pretty quiet. , where it’s easy to find something to eat. “.

“Thank you for making my special day even more special. I appreciate the time and effort that you spent preparing for my birthday. I honestly did not expect anything much. A sweet get together was all in my mind – but the cake and balloons that you gave, the warm greetings, the birthday song and most of all the food you served really tasted great and the service of your staff was really excellent. Those things were way past my imagination. I’m still wishing until now that my special day never ended. I know that we will be having more meaningful and fabulous times like this in the future. I really had a blast during my birthday and will surely recommend “Kitakits” to my colleagues and friends.”.

I just want to tell you and your staff that I just had one of the best birthday parties ever. Staff was so accommodating just like you. Food was superb and I was so surprised with my cake too. It was a total party package and I was even able to convince my friends to have their party same as mine of course at Kitakits.

This was our first visit to Dubai and we were not disappointed.
We were initially a bit wary as we had heard a lot of stories about the place and what you could and couldn’t do, but providing you are sensible there shouldn’t be any problems and we certainly didn’t encounter any.
The hotel Marco Polo was modern, very comfortable and reasonably close to the airport although directly under the flight path. Having said that the planes did not cause any problem with noise etc. Rooms were well appointed with Kettle (tea & coffee etc supplied), hairdryer, safe (free), Internet access, mini bar and electric window blinds ! (Fun to play with !)
Within the hotel are several eating places, including a so called English style pub (Food and service here were excellent), Indian, Chinese, Filipino and Mexican restaurants also. There is also a Disco/nightclub on the premises but we didn’t use it. We were there on a Bed & breakfast basis and found the breakfast to be excellent with plenty of choice.
All the hotel staff were very attentive, helpful and polite.
Getting around was reasonably easy. There are plenty of taxi’s (Government owned so all taxi’s are metered and reasonably priced) and there is also a Metro system although we didn’t try it. Buses are also frequent and the Hotel Marco Polo runs a courtesy bus several times a day to limited locations.
Would we go to Dubai again and stay at the Marco Polo hotel ? – Most definitely !!

I was very ill during my stay & if it wasn’t for the helpful staff of the hotel, I may have gone mad. Anwar from Housekeeping searched high and low for a hot water bottle which he found and was my saving grace. Thank you all.
Please pass on my thanks to all the staff.

We got a warm welcome with a refreshing drink. We got a free upgrade of our room and the room was available early in the morning. We were 10 nights at this hotel in November 2011.
All the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast buffet was very good.
We were disapointed about the swimming pool, you have no view, only high walls and just a little bit of sun.
The hotel is located near to the new metro and taxi is always available.
Free shuttle bus to Deira City Centre and to the beach (with towels).

When I walked into the Marco Polo hotel in Dubai I was immediately greeted with a glass of fresh juice and my bags were instantly taken to my room. The service here is beyond excellent. The hotel room was great, good size, good amenities. Several bars in the lobby to choose from, one of them has live music during the evenings. Hotel is in a great location just minutes from the airport as well. Wish I stayed here longer but was only in town for a few days, would recommend this hotel. Also came with breakfast buffet at an extra charge.

the location is in a REAL area (not Disney Dubai) where you can walk 6-7 minutes to metro’s green line (and a mall on Salahuddin street), supermarkets everywhere, an outstanding Baghdad restaurant 5 minutes (East on Al Muteen) and plenty of shopping for nuts, dates, fast food (Arab style) around. It’s an eclectic area for Arabs, Philipinos, and Pakistanis, with some cafes with side walk seating where you can watch a non-touristy Dubai walk by. Nice palms and Boardwalk there as well.
-Rooms are cozy, quirky (secret panels, creative storage space, electronic blinds).
-the guests really range (EU families, Indian families, young Asian businessmen, Yank contractors on their way to Bagram or Iraq, few Russians, etc…) despite the hotel really having an Indian-centric focus (restaurants are Keralan, Indian, and Chinese).
- the staff are nearly just as varied as the guests.
-there’s a karaoke bar and some club thing.
-there’s a variety of channels (only English news channels are CCTV from China and CNN… which extreme are you in the mood for?) including some good movie channels but I don’t think any sport ones.
-there’s all night room service (menu’s good enough… about 20 items, standard clb sandwiches, etc)
- the breakfast (oriental) to the room was amazing. Labneh, Fatouleh, Lebanese bread… great coffee.
-I think all rooms have bathtubs.
-the service is really genuine and efficient.
-It’s one of the old cats (16 years) in Dubai, and you feel like the staff have all been there a while and enjoy working there.
-the reception and the concierge (they call it “hospitality desk”) went above and beyond in scanning and emailing my docs, calling beaches for costs and travel plans, river dinner, gold and spice souqs.. etc). They just get it done and their slogan on their pins “Yes, I can” seems to always be met.
-there’s a gym.
-It’s clean.
-Excellent bed, covers, and pillows. Really new, soft, and fresh. Also, the completely dark blinds (electric, fully closed and thick) add to the sleep.
-Steady and not-dry AC.
-there’s a buffet breakfast every morning (we didn’t try it).
- the restaurants seem to have good looking food, and nice atmospheres.
-taxi is 25 Dhs (7$) to Dubai Mall and 20 mins, every taxi driver knows the Marco Polo.
-they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off (no extra cost).
-they allowed early check-in (8am!).

Location Service good Dining well above average. Pricing
We were pleasantly surprised with the location. It was close to the Airport and within good reach of the city. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Questions and assistance with taxis and other tourist needs were met promptly and positively. All of the Restaurants we used supplied a good variety of food and which was well priced. We would use this Hotel again.

I am missing Dubai and your hotel’s hospitality already. I definitely will stay at Marco Polo Hotel again for my next visit to Dubai . Thanks to all staff at Marco Polo. Due to the nationwide strike at Athens on 11 May, we were delayed 24 hours at Dubai . Subsequently, we extended our stay for 1 extra night at Marco Polo. With best regards.

I was in Dubai with my wife and daughter and we stayed at the Marco Polo Hotel. The hotel rooms have just been refurbished and the rooms look very new and amazing. The hotel is very close to the airport and almost the centre of all the places to visit in Dubai. The hotel has a daily free shuttle to the Al Mamzar Park & Beach, which is a nice place to relax. The staff is very very friendly and if you are an Indian, you wont feel away from home. They took great care of us. Speaking about food - the Bombay restaurant serves some amazing Indian food with a soothing ambience. We had a wonderful vacation!

"The main reason I liked Marco Polo Hotel Dubai was I got really good service. We had some special requirements for our stay and they were very accommodating to us. The price was nice and cheap and the rooms fine"

I’d like to provide some feedback about Marco Polo Hotel Dubai I have to say that all crew and members of staff are providing a excellent level of service. Especially for the staff of the reception and the crew of the Fox & Hounds bar. I will absolutely recommend your hotel to my friends. Please make sure this feedback will reach the members. We had a wonderful experience at the Marco Polo hotel. The staff was very attentive and extremely helpful! They best part of our stay had to be the restaurants. The Bombay (Indian) and Chopstix (Chinese) served up big sizes of delicious food. It was great to have such fine restaurants within the hotel.

It was very easy for me to get around because of the Filipina hotel staff. The hotel in general is really nice. I like the room lighting and the electronic panel they put on the wall for USB, laptop, internet connection, audio/video.

I enjoyed my one-day stay in your hotel and glad to say Marco Polo Hotel Dubai will be my choice in my next trip. Your staff were courteous, the room was well kept and arranged. The Wi-Fi connection was a big plus for me. My only suggestion which may be a personal preference is at least an option for brighter lights in the room. Otherwise, it was a perfect place for me. Keep it up!

We are one of the regular customers to your Bombay restaurant along with friends and family . Yesterday we had visited Bombay once more and we were delighted once again . More than the food and drinks ,it is your good staff who manage the show.We were thrilled by the customer service provided yesterday particularly by Mr. Rawat and his colleagues making our evening to be remembered. We wish all the staff of Bombay a very happy new year and all the very best. We continue to promote your restaurant among our personal and corporate circles because of the superior quality of service.
Thanks and Regards,

Hello, sorry it has taken me so long to respond but since we have returned from our holiday, life has been busy. We did enjoy our stay at Marco Polo Hotel Dubai and really there is really only one thing that I could suggest as an improvement. The cups in our room were very small - we would have liked a bigger cup for our tea and coffee. Otherwise the facilities were great and all the staff we came in contact with were lovely and very helpful. Thank you so much and hopefully we might be able to return one day.

“I always choose Marco Polo Hotel Dubai because its the friendliest place to stay in Dubai I have tried several other Hotels including 5 star at Palm Island, but don’t care for the other end of Town. The Marco Polo Dubai is located just where I want to be, I can walk to most venues in safety, and eat at places the locals eat. When one travels it is good to meet the locals and try the local food etc. If one just stays with other tourists , might as well stay home. As for your Marco Polo Hotel Dubai, It is very clean, your staff are always friendly, courteous and very helpful, from the welcome, reception gives me on arrival, the bell boy who takes care of my luggage, the cleaning staff, The breakfast staff are very attentive and happy to help in every way. the food if fine. I almost always eat at The Bombay or Chopstix for dinner, but usually try a local restaurant for lunch, which because of your great location there are many to choose from. On many occasions I have returned to the hotel loaded with shopping to be greeted by one of your very attentive young men at the front door , who have taken my parcels and have delivered them to my room, without a moment’s hesitation. That sort of service will keep me coming back to the Marco Polo Hotel Dubai every time I travel. I also recommend it to my friends who travel. The main reason I liked Marco Polo Hotel Dubai was I got really good service. We had some special requirements for our stay and they were very accommodating to us. The price was nice and cheap and the rooms fine"

"Just a ten minute drive from the airport, Marco Polo Hotel Dubai offers value for money. The staff are friendly, the restaurants are highly rated. Their major drawback however is the lobby which is extremely small. However this is clearly offset by the complimentary airport pick up and drop service, besides free internet in all rooms."
